FAQs

Q?

What is the first step to start with the IP Docketers services?

A.

The first step we always recommend is the signing of Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA). It is required for peace of mind. All IP Docketers understand and respect the client confidentiality.

Q?

How IP Docketers will start after NDA?

A.

After signing the NDA, IP Docketers get access to the client's docketing system for analysis. The analysis is discussed with the client and the strategy to get the ball rolling is discussed with the client.

Q?

How IP Docketers get access to docket emails?

A.

We generate a dedicated email ID on our server for each of our client. The client forwards all emails to the dedicated email ID. The forward could be an automatic forward from an internal docket ID of the client or it could be a manual forward by each attorney/agent to the dedicated email ID. IP Docketers start processing each email received in the dedicated email ID.

Q?

How correspondences with high priority and short deadlines are managed?

A.

As soon as we see a correspondence with a high priority and/or short deadline we notify the client about the urgency in a direct email instead of daily report.

Q?

What is the frequency of docket report?

A.

We send a daily docket report containing both incoming and outgoing correspondences containing domestic and foreign correspondences.

Q?

How IP Docketers guarantee the business continuity?

A.

We sign Service Level Agreement (SLA) with each of our clients wherein we guarantee the docketing of all the correspondences within timeline. IP Docketers are a team of well trained professionals which are guided by multiple quality managers. So, multiple IP Docketers are available all the time to manage any kind of work load. Further, though the client is billed for one dedicated Quality Manager, however, another Quality Manager reviews the work of the dedicated Quality Manager, we call him a Shadow Quality Manager. So, if the dedicated Quality Manager is ill or not available for any reason the shadow Quality Manager takes the responsibility of the delivery of daily docket report. Trust us, we strive to achieve six sigma in business continuity guarantee!

Q?

How IP Docketers match with OUR docketing standards?

A.

We do three things for matching your docketing standards:

1. We start with the analysis of the existing system. We note the structure of Docket IDs, Matters, Clients, Tasks and Comments etc. and discuss them with the client to confirm them.

2. We receive and incorporate feedbacks received in daily docket reports. We keep a client specific manual to record all instructions from the client.
